I support Sunderland football club. I have voted Conservative at the last two elections. I voted UKIP at the last European election the UK were a part of. I voted for Brexit. I don’t believe in abortion. I’m an atheist. I don’t eat fish. I’m sober. I don’t believe in censorship. I don’t like butter so eat dry toast / bread. I love tweed. I don’t like Facebook. I’ve never used TikTok. I drive a diesel car. I support Nuclear energy. I agree with most things Ricky Gervais says. I’ve never watched Friends.
All of the above would trigger hate towards me in some way on social media and less so but still quite possibly, face to face in social discussion. People will judge me on a tiny thing I say or agree / disagree with.
Stand for what you believe in. Live your own life. Let others do the same. It would be rather boring if we were all the same.
